I've upgraded my hardware and want to install my windows xp on the new system, however I've lost my product id number. I tried the magic jelly bean software, it's reading my operations system id. I'm unable to install the office xp without my registered/lost id. Can I get it from microsoft or is there another way? Please help.

arthur43er,
The magic jelly bean software works fine on an XP Office machine of ours.
Reads both keys Windows XP Pro & Office.
You can try this link to obtain a new key code:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;823570
If obtainable, it would be wise to keep your new key code,
you will need it in the future.
