Steve, thank you so much for joining in. I emailed myself a jpeg and it shows
up fine. CTRL-F3 on her message DID list an IMG and the src=3D"cid...doesn't that suggest it WAS imbedded? Though on mine it has DIVIMG... on the line before src=3D"cid but on her mail the line before starts with size=3D3IMG...could it be a setting on her computer and not mine? "Steve Cochran" wrote: Try emailing yourself with an image and see if you get it with the image. Have your friend look under Tools-Options-Send-Html setting and see if Send
pictures with mail is checked. If not have him check it and try again. Maybe? |

The important part is that the src= shows a CID. Then you have to look at
the message size and also like I said go to the bottom of the message and see if in fact the image is embedded there. You can go to Message | Forward as attachment and sent me one of her messages and I'll take a look at it to see if there is something wrong. steve "packrat" wrote in message ... Thank you Steve. I forwarded one to you and put "packrat's mail without
image" in the subject line. When I forwarded it, got a message saying pix could not be found. Please let me know what you think! Thanks again for your support and patience. pictures with messages checked. Have her set that, as I indicated in email. steve "packrat" wrote in message ... Thank you Steve. I sent a email with jpeg black and white attachment, small compression 190kb.
It went through OK and showed up in the body of the email. The next one I sent , a box with red X, showed up in the body of the email, WHY did it not show up in body of email, as the other one sent earlier did. and the recepient could not open it. I sent both emails to my self also, same thing as above. Thanks for your help and time. -- Imo G "Bruce Hagen" wrote: Are you reading in plain text? Is there a red X instead of the picture? Are you using Plain Text or HTML format?
Did you do Insert, File Attachment (applies to both plain text or HTML) or Insert, Picture (HTML only)? For Insert, Picture you must select Tools, Options, Send, Mail HTML Settings, Send Picture for the picture to be included with the message. Otherwise only a link to the picture is sent. -- Mike - http://pages.prodigy.net/michael_santovec/techhelp.htm "Imo" wrote in message ...
