Default can I lock an event in Outlook Calendar so it cannot be edited?

We have a shared Outlook Calendar in our office. Is there any way to "lock"
an event so nobody else can delete/edit it?

where is the shared calendar? in a mailbox, no. If in a public folder you
need to set permissions so everyone can edit only their own items.
