database is read only
I saved a file to a CD and when I try to open it on another computer is says
Read-Only and I want to make changes on that computer. I tried unchecking the Read Only box and it says there is an error and it won't change. |

Are you saying that, if you copy the file from the CD to the hard disk, you can't change the Read Only attribute for the file *on the hard disk*? I wouldn't expect you to be able to change it on the CD. -- Dirk Goldgar, MS Access MVP www.datagnostics.com (please reply to the newsgroup, not by e-mail) |
