Default In Power Point, how do I set up presenters view with multiple monit

I am using Microsoft Power Point 2002. I want to display the slides through
a projector and at the same time I want to view the slides and notes on my HP
Pavilion dv1000t laptop.

Hi John,
Sorry for the late reply. Your post would be helpful if I can find out how
to make my Pavilion dv1000t laptop accept Monitor 1 as the Primary Monitor.
Monitors 1 and 2 show up in the Display Settings window, but when I select
Monitor 1, which then becomes highlighted, the check box below for Make this
your primary monitor does not activate. I talked to HP, they say the laptop
is working correctly, that the problem is with software. My Power Point 2002
has been working just fine for all else. This is the first time I tried to
show note pages on the laptop and slides on the projector. I even tried
Power Show and could not make it work.
