Default options for catagories in contacts

I moved from Microsft XP to Microsoft 2007 and can't find the opton to place
contacts in catagories. Help?

The versions you state do not exist. Clarify what you did as precisely as
you can. Clarify what you cannot do that you think you should be able to do.

Default options for catagories in contacts

Do you mean Outlook 2002 (from Office XP) to Outlook 2007?
Categories remain an integral part of Outlook organization.
When you open a contact, the Categorize feature resides in the Options
section of the ribbon under the Contact tab.
