Default Chart Types

Is there other specialized software which would be an add-in to Excel and
give me a larger variety of chart types?

SigmaPlot (http://www.spssscience.com/SigmaPlot/)
Amigo (http://www.threedgraphics.com/products.html),
Delta Graph (http://www.spss.com/deltagraph/), and
Harvard Graphics (http://www.harvardgraphics.com/)

Please do not consider this as an endorsement of any particular
program.

Also, with a little ingenuity, one can simulate a large range of
effects. See various websites for examples: mine, Jon Peltier's
(www.geocities.com/jonpeltier), Stephen Bullen's (www.bmsltd.co.uk),
Andy Pope's (www.andypope.info/), and others I have *inadvertently*
missed.

John -

Tushar gave you several links to try out. If what you want is similar
to the "Built-in Custom" chart types (gotta love that oxymoron), but not
exact, keep in mind that you are not limited to that very short list of
chart types. Make a chart with all your data, then one-by-one, select a
series and assign it a different chart type (Chart Type from the Chart
menu) or to the secondary axis (Double click, then select the Axis tab).
You can get any number of custom chart types in this way, without
dealing with an addin.
