Send fax wizard address book
Hi,
I have Outlook 2003 and Fax service enabled on my machine. Whenever I use the Send Fax Wizard and press the Address Book button, it'd call up the Windows Address Book instead of my Outlook Address Book. Consequently, I can't send fax to Contacts in my Outlook unless I type the fax number manually. Thanks, Lee |

Except that shouldn't be necessary. Windows XP Fax will default to the

Hi Valentine,
It's likely mine isn't correctly configured. How do I fix it? Thanks, Lee "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... Except that shouldn't be necessary. Send fax wizard address book
Hi,
Sorry for not being specific enough. My address book is working fine in Outlook. However, when I do fax with the Send Fax Wizard, it shows the WAB (Windows Address Book) instead of my Outlook Contacts. The drop down list has only WAB items, could I somehow configure / change registry so that both WAB and Outlook Contacts items can be chosen when I send fax using the wizard? Thanks, Lee "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... http://support.microsoft.com/default...Product=ol2002 -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "lee" wrote in message ... Send fax wizard address book
I checked the article and checked the check box as indicated in the article.
Like I said, the Address Book is working fine in Outlook but not when faxing using the Send Fax Wizard that is an operating system service. To be clear, the problem happens when I print a document to the fax driver which would call up the Send Fax Wizard. "WimŽ" wrote in message ... "lee" schreef in bericht ... Can't reproduce your findings. In every installation I've seen, Windows XP
Fax will default to the Outlook Address Book as soon as it is installed and configured. Make sure the Outlook Address Book is set as your system's default. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "lee" wrote in message ...
