what should I have to do if i want to give score 5 at 1000
and with every increase or decrease of 25 in 1000 .25
should be added in 5 or subtracted respectively.

Hi
if your vcalue is in A1 try the following formula
=FLOOR(A1-500,25)/25*0.25

or shorter make this
=FLOOR(A1-500,25)/100
