Default Setting up Email Reminders

Hi. I have no idea if this can be done...but I created a schedule for our
team. Each person has a user id. They use drop-down lists to add their name
to a shared schedule that contains the days we work broken down into time
slots and tasks. I wanted to know if there was a way that Excel could send a
reminder email to the user shortly before they are scheduled to perform the
task they signed up for.

Example: User id PXM0 is listed in the 7am-10am time slot on Jan 8th. An
email is sent to at 6:50am reminding them they are
scheduled.

Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
