Default How to uninstall Office XP?

Hello,
I bought Office Pro 2007 because I have problems with my Office Pro XP
installation. As a matter of fact, MSFT is telling me I can't register the
old copy. Fine. I have the new product and it's installed correctly. However,
I cannot download templates from Microsoft because it sees the old Office Pro
XP. I tried uninstalling it, but the uninstall fails. How do I get rid of
Office Pro XP? What registry keys do I delete? What folders? Files? Any
assistance would be most welcome!!!!

I suppose this means you dont have the Oxp cd?
Did not the installation of O2007 offer to upgrade the earlier version?

Hi Chalkart,

If you are unable to uninstall Office XP normally, then I would try
installing and running the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility as described in
the following article:

290301 Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;290301

Hope this helps,
