If you have Outlook on the Windows 98 system, then it has a PST. Copy that
PST to the Vista system to, say, a folder under Documents. Make sure it's not
read-only by right-clicking it in Windows Explorer, choosing Properties, and
making sure "read only" isn't checked. Then start Outlook and click
FileOpenOutlook Data File. Browse to that added PST, select it, and click
OK. It should open and you should be able to see all the folders it contains.
Open its Contacts folder, select all the items in it with Ctrl+A, then
right-click and drag the selection to the default Contacts folder. Release
the mouse button and choose Copy.
