Accessing CONTACTS through PAB Freezes
Outlook 2000, browsing through contacts if fine, but when using Contact as a personal address book lets you scroll through to about half way of the contact and Outlook generates an error message and closes.
I looked for the outcmd.dat file (hidden enabled) but I was only able to find extend. Running Exchange 5.5 Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000. Thank you |

First, you should be using the Outlook Address Book, not the Personal
Address Book. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "go_extreme" wrote in message ... Then you have one of the many mysterious Address Book crashes that many see
but Microsoft cannot reproduce. There is some anecdotal evidence that one or more of the following may help: 1. Remove and re-add the Outlook Address Book Service to the profile to repair it. 2. Look for a corrupt address in a Contact in the vicinity where the crash occurs while scrolling. 3. Update your video drivers. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "go_extreme" wrote in message ...
