Turn on Show Paragraphs and look for a paragraph mark at the end of the
document, then delete it if you can. If you are unable to delete it, change
its font size to 1 (one) point and in the paragraph menu, be sure there is
no space before or after it. While it will still be there, it should move to
the second-last page and avoid the final blank page.

To turn on show paragraph marks either:

Tools Options View Paragraph marks

or

Click on the Show All button on the formatting toolbar (looks sort of like a
backwards P).
