Default Margin Problem

Has anyone else experienced the following problem.

Using Access 2000 I create a report and have the page set to US Letter, I
then go to page setup and change the margins from the default 1" to 0.5" and
save everything, I preview the report and all is well.

However, everytime I try to preview the report, the margins have changed and
the text near the edges has been cropped. When I open the report again in
design view and check the page setup, the margins have reverted back to the
default 1"

I get this on different databases with different reports running on
different PC's so it has to be something to do with MS Access itself.

Any clues anyone?

Thanks,
Brian

Well known bug in A2000. Turn off Name-AutoCorrect and apply all service
patches for Office.

If you are using Access 2000 this is a known bug and is documented in
the Microsoft Knowledgebase article:
Q245021 'List of Fixed Problems in Microsoft Office 2000 Service
Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a)'
And specifically:
Q240826 'Lost Printer Settings when Name Autocorrect is turned on'

Turn off the Name AutoCorrect feature as a temporary 'fix'.
Then download and install the Service Release 1/1a.
