Default Field dispalys ID instead of data

I have a report that utilizes a field from a query, that field is a look-up field. In the table and queries the data displays just fine, but in the report the ID number displays rather than the actual data. Example: I want AZ to show, but instead it shows 1 or if I want CA to show it shows the ID 3. How to I get it to show the data rather than the ID number? Thank you for your help!

You can use a combobox and set the RowSource to the table for the lookup
field.
If you create the report in design view, when you drag the ID field onto
your report, Access will make the field a combo automatically.
