How do I sub-divide a page in Word 2007?

I am an avid WordPerfect user. I am forced to use Word by my employer, but I
cannot find what I want. How can I sub-divide a page and then copy what I
have written (or will write) to the other sections/divisions of the page;
i.e. take a landscape 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper and divide it into 4 "cards".

PS. Is there a place I can go to look up a WordPerfect command and it will
show me where to find the equivalent in Word 2007?

Word uses a "label" layout to format pages this way. Although you can use a
standard Avery label set up for "postcards," in Word 2007 you will also find
(under Mailings | Labels) a series of "labels" with Microsoft as the
"vendor," and these include 1/4 Letter, which is what you want. If you
select that "label" and then "Full page of the same label," you can type
your content in the window in the Labels dialog and it will be replicated in
each "label" on the page.

Or if (as is likely) this is not satisfactory, you can choose New Document.
Veteran users of Word's labels will find the results of this choice
surprising. Instead of seeing the expected page divided into four cards
(using a table), Word displays the individual cards as pages. But you can
still type content into one of them and then copy it to pages 2, 3, and 4
(after you've created them). You can tell that this is a table by the fact
that you get a new page by tabbing out of the first one.

I don't think this layout is one of Word 2007's best-designed features (for
one thing, you have an "extra" page caused by the empty paragraph at the end
of the table), and you may find it easier to visualize the result if you use
Avery 3263 instead.
