Problem installing Office 2003 on Vista
I just purchased a new laptop with Vista Home Premium o/s. I was told by the
retailer that Vista would work with my programs that are on my XP. I have been trying to install Windows Office 2003 on my laptop. I keep getting "Installation Error: File not found" the screen keeps asking for various cab files. The screen also indicates I should look for it on by browsing "Original Installation Source Required". The CD I am using is the original. I have tried changing the compatiblity and running as the administrator. I receive an error message looking for cab files and stating an error code 2350. Is there a patch or something I need to complete the installation? Can you help me? Thank you in advance for any and all suggestions. |
