"Preparing to Install" everytime I open Office 2007 on Vista

I have windows vista and Microsoft Office 2007 and every time I try to open
anything in Office I have to go through the "preparing to install...gathering
information" all over again. What is wrong with my computer? I have
uninstalled and reinstalled and I have all of the updates. Any help? I have
a valid product key. This is driving me insane!

If you have Windows XP, then log in to Windows as Administrator, start
an Office program, accept the EULA, close the Office program, log out of
Windows as Administrator, and log back in to Windows using your normal
user profile.

If you have Windows Vista, then right-click on an Office program
shortcut, choose to run the Office program as Administrator, accept the
EULA, close the Office program, and then start the Office program normally.

If the previous suggestion doesn't help, then see

End User License Agreement every time that you start an Office program".

I had a similar problem and DL helped me with it also. Even though I thought
I had all of the windows updates because of the automatic updates, I went to
ALL PROGRAMS, then WINDOWS UPDATE, and an hour later everything was working!

Did you get this fixed? I have a similar problem and can't seem to get help.

I had the same issue 6 months ago installing Office 2003 with Vista And
running any Office program once as an administrator as DL suggested fixed the
problem.
