Default Try to unlock microsoft word password with Word Password Recovery 5.0

Maggie chen,

Once again, a reply that is of no worth at all in addressing the OP's problem - did you even bother to take the time to understand
the issue? And how about responding to something that is timely, instead of just plugging some software the OP doesn't need!

What do you mean by it is locked? Can you create a new document and
type in it? If the answer is yes then clearly your old document is
corrupted. Also, it is possible that you have encrypted it by mistake.
Do you get a prompt to enter a password?

Hi JoAnn,

Thanks for responding to my post. I appreciate it. This situation is driving
me crazy. I obtained a new product key from microsoft online for trial use
that lasts for a month or two. It is so hard to reach anyone and get
information on this stuff, for me anyway. I wanted to find out how to
reactivate my copy, but that seems to be impossible to find that information
and I called and could not get any inforamtion. Yikes! What do I do. Can I
unlock the document so that I can use this program? I bought it back in 2003
and have had to load it onto several computers and laptops over the years due
to computer crashes etc, and now, it appears that I cannot use it any longer!
I need it for my online college. When my computer recently went kaput and I
got a new one, this one has microsoft words wp, but my online college cannot
use that, so now I have to go back and forth between my computer without 2003
word to my laptop with 2003 word. But, I hate using the laptop!!! Okay,
enough of my problem. Can you advise me? Thanks!

If that is right, then you do not want a trial version key. You need to call
Microsoft. (I know you did not want to read that)

Scroll down to the section titled "How to replace a damaged or lost product

This is assuming you did not get it preinstalled on the old computer. If you
did, you cannot install it on another computer. You will have to purchase a
new version of Word if that is what you need.

Uninstall all Office products from the Add/Remove Programs in Control panel
for XP or Programs and Features in Vista.

Reboot the computer.

Install the 2003 version of S & T that you have using the key on the orange
label on the folder. Once installation is complete you need to activate.
If it fails online activation you must use telephone activation. The number
will be provided, call it and follow the electronic prompts. Normally the
telephone activation will go fine but you may need to speak to a live person
if the electronic online has failed.
