Default Corrupt data file

Error message tells me to run scanpst.exe. Cannot find in OFFICE 12 - using
Vista. Inbox is okay prior to 3/7 - after that I get the word NONE in teh
date column and nothing else. Not super computer savvy so simple
instructions would be most appreciated.

Did you try a file/folder search? That's usually the easiest way to find it.
Once you locate it, double-click it and follow the instructions. The
instructions will include browsing to the location of your PST file so you
need to know that.
Please do this while Outlook is closed.

Once scanpst.exe does its job and finds/repairs errors, when it's complete
run it again. If it finds errors again, keep running it until it finds no
errors. Then open Outlook and see if it has resolved the problem.

You need to search, to include hidden files, for scanpst.exe
The default Vista location is;
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outloo k\

Um, nope. That's not where scanpst.exe is located, it's where the PST is
located.

Do you know a very nice application ' Advanced Outlook Repair'
(http://www.datanumen.com/aor/). It is a powerful tool to recover
messages, folders and other objects from corrupt or damaged Microsoft
Outlook PST files.
