Default How do I align numbers in different text boxes?

I have two text boxes (side by side) in PowerPoint, with numbers in each box.
I want the numbers to line up horizontally across the two boxes, but the
spacing is off. The line spacing is different in each box even though the
format indicates it's the same.

You might need to set up the textbox itself so it "resizes to fit text."
