How can I capturing sound from a pps file
I have a pps file that has music I want to use in a power point show. How
can I capture this sound. When I open the pps show, it plays the slides and music, but I cannot separate the sound to use in another show. A thought it to somehow hide the pps within my slide show, and then play the pps at the same time throughout the slide show. Ideas on this? thanks |

How can I capturing sound from a pps file
Hi Steve
Open the file in PowerPoint (i.e. open PowerPoint then use the open command to open the pps rather than double clicking the pps) then save as html - this will create a folder containing all the 'bits' that make up the presentation including the sound file. How can I capturing sound from a pps file
Lucy,
I am so excited with your solution I had to Reply with a "thank you". I give outdoor motivational presentations, and now I have an exciting sound to go with many of my outdoor pictues. Thank you for your perfect solution.
