Default auto correct --- again

Are you saying there is no way to turn them off
permanently? Yes, I am referring to the auto-format
option of auto numbered list. I HATE that. So it's
either a macro or turn it off each time?

I really don't have much of a clue as to what your problem is. If you want
to continue a discussion of a problem you've been seeking help on, it is
best to post a reply in that thread. If you can't find it, could you restate
your problem.

Autoformat as you type can be turned off. Tools AutoCorrect (Options)
Autoformat as you type

Just uncheck the things you don't want automatically changed.

Disabling "Automatic numbered lists" in AutoFormat As You Type is
"permanent" setting (at least until you enable it again).
