Default "home" key

When I press the "home" key nothing happens. I do not go to the beginning of
the line.
When I prees "ctrl + home" I get a fnd and replace window rather than going
to the top of the document.
Any suggestions??

In Tools Options General, uncheck both options that mention
WordPerfect.
