Using a list box to populate a subform
In Access 2003, I have a form with no control source; only a listbox
populated from a query. I also have a subform that I want populated from a value in the listbox. Since there is no control source for the form, the wizard that establishes the relationship between the two forms shows empty for the main form. I tried establishing the relationship with a text box that gets its value from the list box on the main. However, when I go into form view, there is nothing in the subform. Any ideas? |

What is the Recordsource of the subform? You may be able to make it work by typing the name of the listbox into the Master Link Field property of the subform; that's not an option that the wizard will offer you, but it does work. -- John W.
