Turn off margin warnings
Is there a way to turn off the warning about margins being set outside the
print area? It's not normally a problem, but the warning gets repeated for every section of a doc, and each page of labels is a separate section - gets to be a pain if you're printing hundred of pages of labels. Thanks. -- Ted |

Turn off margin warnings
The way to switch off the warning is to fix the problem that Word sees.
Presumably this document was configured for a different printer? It would probably be simplest to remerge the data to a new document. See http://www.gmayor.com/mail_merge_lab...th_word_xp.htm and maybe http://www.gmayor.com/convert_labels...mail_merge.htm -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org TedMi wrote: Is there a way to turn off the warning about margins being set outside the print area? Turn off margin warnings
Word itself creates docs with margins in the non-printing area. Eg. creating
a page of 5160 labels makes the side margins 0.19 in, while most printers require at least 0.25. -- Ted |

But if you 'fix' the margins, all that are lost are the outside borders of
the table, which for mailing labels shouldn't be relevant - but it will eliminate the error message. -- Graham Mayor - Word MVP My web site www.gmayor.com Word MVP web site http://word.mvps.org TedMi wrote: Word itself creates docs with margins in the non-printing area. Not necessarily. Sometimes Word has qualms about the margins for no discernible reason. -- Suzanne S.
