I want to be able to run my mouse ove a list of items, when I go over the
items I want a text box to appear with the description of the listed item,
can anyone help me on this. I want to be able to put the text box where I

For mouse over, have a look at:
http://www.soniacoleman.com/Tutorial...n%20mouse-over

You can make use of Control Toolbox's textbox which allows you to edit text
during slideshow view, but I don't think description text will work when
using the control toolbox's textbox.

Shawn gave you the standard answer, but I don't think it will do all of
what you want. You might need VBA to do what you want, specifically be able
to easily edit the text (if you want to do that on the fly) and position
the box.
