All Mail gets moved to Junk as Spam
I recently upgrades to Outlook 2007 and whenever I open outlook and it
downloads messages it moves almost all of them to Junk and marks them as spam. I don't know why that is happening. I have not set anything up and checked rules and there is one but it is not enabled. I see the mail being moved so I close Outlook. Sign into hotmail to view my account and those items moved are gone. What can I do to stop the movement so that I can use Outlook. I liked outlook 2003 and thought that 2007 would be an improvement but now I cant use it. I have 4 different accounts....1 is hotmail, 1 is msn and two are bluehost. Any help would be appreciated. Do you have any other antispam application installed? (Some antivirus
software includes antispam) Do you have sp2 installed? if so, the infobar will say if outlook moved the messages. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com/ Outlook Tips by email: EMO - a weekly newsletter about Outlook and Exchange: "flyball" wrote in message news I recently upgrades to Outlook 2007 and whenever I open outlook and it downloads messages it moves almost all of them to Junk and marks them as spam. All Mail gets moved to Junk as Spam
Diane,
Thanks for your response. I am using Kaspersky Internet Security 8.0.0.454 but did not have this problem with Outlook 2003. I also checked and have service pack 3 installed. The info bar is something that I either don't see or am not aware of. Im reluctant to open Outlook again as I don't want to lose any emails. I believe I did open in safe mode once and it was ok but, not sure. Frankly, I don't remember how I did that...I believe I shut it down before it was finished and when it reopened it asked me if I want to open in safe mode. Without that situation, I'm not sure of how to open in safe mode and, I'm not even sure if that will stop the auto deletion / move of emails. Thanks for your help. Any additional advice would be appreciated. Jim "Diane Poremsky [MVP]" wrote: Do you have any other antispam application installed?
