How to connect a hyperlink between two paragraphs within the same
I have a word document which lays out the summary in front.
Eg a). 1. Step 1 2. Step 2 3. Step 3 I want to create link each of the above to a paragraphs later in the paragraph. Eg. Linking Step 1 to: Eg b) 1. Step 1 consists of...etc etc. Such that when I click on the number 1 before the word 'Step 1' in Eg a, it directs me directly to the paragraph under 1. Step 1 under Eg b. Thanks. |

You need to bookmark Step 1 and then insert a hyperlink to the bookmark
name. Whatever you do, make the target to click bigger than just the '1' as it will drive users nuts trying to click such a tiny target. -- Terry Farrell - MSWord MVP "TWT" wrote in message ... Given that the item in question is a "numbered item," it may not even be
necessary to bookmark it if instead of a hyperlink per se, you use a hyperlinked cross-reference. -- Suzanne S.
