Default MAIL BLOCK ?

I get eMail from various e-tailers, manufacturers, etc.

Ever since the last Microsoft download/update,
these eMails come in without graphics.

I receive the message, but then display a blank box,
with alittle red x in it.

I'm sure it has to do with the security settings....
but
what to do ?? what to do ?

How can I get this eMail content back ?

XP? Did it start after installing SP2? There should be a
message between the Message Header and the message that
says, "Some pictures have been
blocked..............................Click
here................".

Is that the case?

Occasionally I see the "pics blocked" symbol . (?)

More often than not, it's just eMail from a business
with much of the text cleared, outline boxes, and little red x's.

???

You are reading in HTML and not Plain Text, correct? See if
anything here helps.

There are a few possibilities. Some are on the sender's end,
and some may be on your end.
