Time increments in Outlook
I just started using Outlook 2000 for planning and
scheduling. I can only schedule things in half-hour increments, which is not flexible enough for me. I've seen other computer planners that allow scheduling in 5 minute increments. Is there a way to configure Outlook 2000 to give more flexibility in scheduling times or am I stuck with 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, etc.? Is there a plug-in that might help? I've also read that Outlook 2003 is a big improvement over 2000. If anyone is familiar with both versions, please let me know if 2003 allows more flexibility in scheduling and what time increments are allowed. Thanks. |

Right click on your calendar, go to other settings, then
update the Time Scale and click ok. :-) -----Original Message----- I just started using Outlook 2000 for planning and scheduling. Time increments in Outlook
You can also type in whatever start and end times you like for a particular
appointment -- you don't have to go with what is offered in the dropdown boxes. You can even use abbreviations like 1005a for 10:05 AM. -- Jocelyn Fiorello MVP - Outlook *** Messages sent to my e-mail address will NOT be answered -- please reply only to the newsgroup to preserve the message thread. *** In , Girgus Aurelius wrote: Right on the money! I set the time interval to 5 minutes in order to prevent
entries from overlapping in the daily and weekly view. However, this makes it so that you can only see about 3 hours of the day at once. Is there any way to set the interval to 5 minutes, but also to make the ticks smaller, so that more of the day is visible at one time? Thanks! -----Original Message----- You can also type in whatever start and end times you like for a particular appointment -- you don't have to go with what is offered in the dropdown boxes.
