I am using hyperlink to connect cell 1 in a spreadsheet with another
cell (suppose in row 12) in the same spreadsheet. When I insert a row
before the connected cell (so, now it's row number becomes 13),
however, the hyper link does not change automatically but still link
to row 12. Is there any way to do it automatically in EXCEL. Many
thanks!

You could use Excel's HYPERLINK worksheet function:

=HYPERLINK(A12,"What was originally A12")
