Default linking worksheet pages

Hi, is there a way to create a link so that clicking on a cell will
take me to a cell on another worksheet? I would like to set up a list
on a page that can reference another sheet- even better would be if I
could set up a link where hovering over a cell shows data from a range
of cells on another page. Thanks.

There are 2 types of link in Excel: hyperlinks which, as on a website,
take you to another location, and formula links which bring data from
another location.

Hyperlinks can be created in two ways:
- Insert Hyperlink Link to: Place in this document ...
- using the HYPERLINK worksheet function

Clicking on a cell containing a hyperlink will take you to the
appropriate location .

A formula link - e.g. =Sheet2!$B$2 - displays the data from that cell
and, if you switch off Tools Options Edit Edit directly in cell,
double-clicking the cell containing the link formula will take you to
the source cell.
