Default Outlook 2007 stopped after SP2 installed

I manually installed Office SP2
now about 6 seconds after the Outlook Today page is displayed it says MS
Office Outlook has stopped working.
Vista Business 32 bit, Small business Office 2007
-I ran the Outlook scan program on the PST file,
-Tried a backed up version of .PST file
-Ran small office 2007 repair.
-Ran Office diagnostics
-Same thing in safe mode: outlook.exe /safe, safe:3, safe:4.
-uninstalled SP2
still stalls after about 6 seconds and all my folders seem to be present but
cannot look inside them.

What happens if you open it to a different folder? In the start, run
command, paste
Outlook.exe /select outlook:Calendar

It stops immediately.
Also, I tried a system restore and that failed.
