Hosted exchange service, saving password is not an option in OL
Hi
We get our email from a hosted exchange server (3rd party) and we connect to it with Outlook 2007. Everytime I launch OL it asks for user name and password. User name is always prefilled but not password. Is there any way to save ther password so OL does not ask everytime I launch it? This is very much annoying. Please help. NR |

Which method of authentication is supported by the ISP?
It needs to support NTLM authentication in order to be able to save the password. You cannot save passwords with Basic authentication. -- Robert Sparnaaij [MVP-Outlook] Coauthor, Configuring Microsoft Outlook 2003 http://www.howto-outlook.com/ Outlook FAQ, HowTo, Downloads, Add-Ins and more http://www.msoutlook.info/ Real World Questions, Real World Answers ----- "Nariman" wrote in message ...
