Default Reading pane and start up errors

Recently starting Outlook 2007 I get the 'Not responding' message after about
1min Outlook then boots up and connects to the exchange server. In the drop
down menu View the reading pane tab is no longer highlighted, and I can only
toggle between reading on the right or not on at all, all so if the reading
pane is on I can not see my messages.
I have run the diagnostics tool which picks up a problem and send me to a
website on the website is a link to another site to solve the problems but
the link just comes back HTTP404 error.
Up until a few days ago Outlook was working no problems, ant help on the
above much appreciated.

How about posting the website and the link so we can maybe find out where it
was relocated?
