Superfluous zeroes when copying from Word table to Excel
Here's an example of the problem I'm facing:
I copy the following from a table in Word: 5 4 3 2 I go into Excel and Paste Special/Paste Link/Unicode to keep the link. What happens is that I get: 5 0 4 0 So I'm getting a superfluous zero between each of my cells. Any ideas? Thanks! |

That didn't happen for me. My guess is that you have some extra rows in your Word table. -- Dick Kusleika MVP - Excel Excel Blog - Daily Dose of Excel www.dicks-blog.com "C Michael" wrote in message ... Superfluous zeroes when copying from Word table to Excel
Hi,
thanks for your reply. The table did have returns in it in Word, but I get the same behaviour when I delete them. The table does have drop down selections, so I'm wondering if that is somehow the problem(?) Regards, C. Michael -----Original Message----- C Michael That didn't happen for me. Would you mind emailing me a copy of the Word document? Maybe I can figure out what's happening. -- Dick Kusleika MVP - Excel Excel Blog - Daily Dose of Excel www.dicks-blog.com "C Michael" wrote in message ... Hi, thanks for your reply.
