Shape shifting
I'm working in a rather large, cumbersome visio file which was made by
someone who apparently knew less about it than me, which is truly saying something. The seem to have generated the flowchart(s) using two different kinds of shapes: ones that have glue points and ones that do not. Unfortunately, they all need to function the same. Through my best detective work, I've deduced that they used rectangles from the Drawing toolbar for some (no glue points) and basic shapes from the Shapes box (glue points) for the others. I need a way to convert the rectangles to shapes that have the snap and glue features I need to make this flow chart center appropriately. Any help is appreciated. |

Would you care to take a look at my http://www.visio-utilities.sandrila.co.uk/ which can do shape substitution. You should be able to replace all the toolbar type rectangles with any other shape, maintaining the original shapes' dimensions, text etc.. -- Regards, Paul Herber, Sandrila Ltd.
