migrating viso diagrams to Word 2007
I would like to imjport/export my visio procedure manual into word 2007
preserving all existing links, security and properties information - there are more then a few links with multiple access levels. Please could you advise if this is possible and how I may achieve this. Word 2007 is run on WinXP Pro. |

migrating viso diagrams to Word 2007
Generally, trying to import an entire Visio file into Word doesn't work -- at
least not very well. The usual process is to copy a Visio page, and then either just paste it, or use paste specialas Visio drawing. But, I suspect that will not preserve your links. You might be able to create a hyperlink in Word to your Visio file. I've not tried it though. And, that probably doesn't preserve the overall document formatting that you're trying to achieve. I doubt that exporting Visio to webpage and perhaps webpage into Word will work either. Those are about the only thinking outloud ideas that occur to me.
