Default Product Key doesn't work

I just recently bought Microsoft Office (I bought it a week ago) and I
noticed that my microsoft still said it was a 'trial' version. So after a
long and tedious process, I figured out how to convert my product into a full
version.

Only now the product key doesn't work.

I don't know what else to do. It's a student version that I bought through
my school and I'm a college student. Which means I can't afford 49 dollars to
contact support and MAYBE get an answer.

Anyone know what I should do?

Uninstall all versions of Office on your computer, install just the paid
version.

Thank you so much. I guess I didn't fully uninstall the program last time I
tried to do it.

I have a similar problem. I uninstalled the trial version, but when I
try to install the purchased version, it still asks me for the 25 Digit
Product Key. Well, the product key on my software is only 14 digits, so
it won't accept it. Any ideas?

That's not the product key. I don't know what you are looking at but product
keys are on an orange (yellow?) sticker and consist of 5 groups of 5 digits
separated with dashes.

Default Product Key doesn't work

I had a problem with Vista Home Premium; my hard drive was wiped clean and
Windows Vista Home Premium (a new copy) was installed. I then installed all
my other programs including Microsoft Office Standard 2007. The Product Key I
obtained when I purchased this software (it is genuine) does not work. I also
do not have a Product ID. What do I do?

That's the WINDOWS key, not Office. Call eMachine's help desk and ask them
where they put it.
