How do I permanently delete a toolbar
I created a custom toolbar that was in a file I put into my \Application
Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART directory and now I don't need it. I have gone into customise and flagged the toolbar to be deleted and it disappears but the problem is it reappears every single time I restart excel, regardless of the file I open. I have also removed the file from my XLSTART directory to try and remove the toolbar but this no doesn't help. I'm using Excel XP. Someone at work who has Excel 2000 also had a look at this file (putting it in their XLSTART directory) and they now have the same problem in that they can't get rid of the toolbar. Any suggestions to permanently remove the toolbar from my system (short of reinstalling excel) would be appreciated |
