Default To set permanently Word as Outlook email editor

I have MS Outlook 2003 + MS Word 2003 (both SP1 version), and my Outlook has
been configured to use MS Word 2003 to:
1. Edit email messages.
2. Read Rich Text email messages.

I did this on the menu: Tools, Options, Mail Format, then turned on these 2
options.

As long as I don't close the Outlook program, this feature works fine, all
of the messages I receive, open, etc, they are all opened by MS Word 2003.

The problem comes when I close the Outlook. When I re-open the Outlook, the
setup configuration to use MS Word has been turned off and I have to repeat
the work mentioned above everytime I use the newly open Outlook.

Does anyone experience the same problem I have? Appreciate with some help to
configure this configuration permanently.

If you have already used Detect and Repair, then I would try a new mail
profile.

Hello Milly,
What do you mean by 'Detect and Repair'? Do you mean I should run this
tool/feature? If so, how can I run this?

Thanks!

I tried it and it does not help anything to my problem. Any other idea or
solution?

Tried the other solution suggested? A new mail profile?

Indeed I have 3 different mail profiles as I have different mail account
somewhere including exchange server from my company.

This problem occurs on every mail profile. So, no matter which profile you
open, once you close the Outlook, the setting email editor will be changed
again by itself, not to use MS word.
