Default ppt 2007 is slowing me down

The latest thing to annoy me about ppt2007...

I create a file on one PC (the "edit" PC), then move it to another PC (the
"show" PC).
I run the file on the "show" PC, and before it starts I get this dialog box
for a full minute...

"currently preparing the presentation by checking the file against your
current security settings...".

What the heck is this? How can I make it go away? WHAT security settings?
It does this about half the time, seemingly at random. I update the file
every 20 minutes or so, and will do so all day for the next four days!

FYI, I don't know if this is gemaine to the issue, but the pptx file makes
use of MANY short videos, which are duplicated on the edit and show PCs (in
the folder with the .pptx in each case)

Thanks much. I am in a booth in a convention center and can't bear waiting
for ppt2007 to do things I don't want or need it to do.

I've never seen this message. I wonder if it's really being generated by
PPT, or if it's some add-in or something.

Anyway, try putting the folder where your presentation and video lives into
the "trusted locations" list. That's in Office Button | PPT Options | Trust
Center | Trust Center Settings | Trusted Locations.

Sounds as though this might be coming from an antivirus, security or
anti-malware program.

Try disconnecting from the net then turning 'em all of, at least temporarily.
