Linking PP jpg's?/Files with 250 jpg's or more
I'm creating a slide show with 250 pictures from Hawaii, i'm using the default resolution for there sizes that PP recommends. The problem is the files size is near 300 megabytes and i don't know why? Is there a way to link files instead or a way to keep the file size down for large picture presentations? ANy help would be great!!!

If you have PowerPoint 2002 or 2003, you could compress the images. Look

When you "insert picture From file" their is a little known feature tick box thing called "link to file" It links pictures. The only problem you may find is if you move the pictures to another folder or email the presentation....then powerpoint will not be able to find the linked pictures Cheers TAJ Simmons microsoft powerpoint mvp awesome - powerpoint backgrounds, free powerpoint templates, tutorials, hints and tips etc http://www.powerpointbackgrounds.com I'm creating a slide show with 250 pictures from Hawaii, i'm using the default resolution for there sizes that PP recommends.
