Default pivot charts in access 2007

I would like to do a scatter chart of the following data. When I do the
pivot chart, it defaults to auto calculating sum of x data and count of y
data. I want the chart to calculate neither. Just want it to plot the data
in the chart. I can at least change the autocalc in the x data, but cannot
even move it off count in the y data (all other methods of calc are gray).
Further, there is not a "none" selection in the autocalc menu.

I have also attempted to adapt a line chart (without the lines) to sort of
make the scatter chart. Again the chart wants to autocalc and has no means
that I see to not calculate the data. Any help would be great!

Default pivot charts in access 2007

Hi,

I've got exactly the same problem I have a simple x,y series that I want to
plot via an access 2007 scatter x,y pivot chart. I cannot turn off the auto
cacl option. If I leave it on SUM function the data is actually plotted
correctly. so

x,y
1,23
2,34

plots ok, but if any x data is a duplicate e.g.

1,23
2,34
2,30

it will then plot..
1,23
4,64 (it has summed the pair of values - as per the autocalc).

Am I going mad or is there someway of turning the autocalc off....??

Cheers

Elliott
