Default Linking to a sheet within an Excel file from a Visio web page

I'm trying to create a link from a Visio 2003 web page to a particular sheet
within Excel. I have used Sample.xls#SheetName and it doesn't work. I have
tried using SheetName in the Sub-address field also which does not work.

I have read somewhere that using #SheetName does not work with a file:// link?

Can anyone help?
It would be really appreciated!

Thanks,
SarahW

Default Linking to a sheet within an Excel file from a Visio web page

Sarah, I'm trying to do the exact same thing! I did the same tests, and
I asked the same question a few days ago and so far no one's replied. I
also googled and found this as a possible solution:

....a href="http://Elk.extension.psu.edu/test.xls#Sheet3!B510"Text
for the link...

I checked the files generated by Visio when a drawing is saved as a web
page and so far I've not been able to make it work. It appears that
Visio generates an XML file.

I'm trying to link a shape to an Excel graph showing production stats
in graphic format for that particular process. Please let me know if
and when you come across a solution. Thank you.
