Default Connect & disconnect speakers

I'm told that connecting and/or disconnecting the speakers from the PC w/o
turning off the PC first could injure the PC or the speakers. Any comment?
Thanks. Retrac

Please ask the experts in the XP General newsgroup. This is for Outlook
Express.

Default Connect & disconnect speakers

Doing so would not "injure" Outlook Express.

I would most definitely turn off the speakers before
disconnecting/reconnecting them, however.
