Default Faxes

I have the factory installed version of XP home, with the restore disc. Can
i use this version of Outlooks Express to send and rec. faxes? And if so, How?

Well, let's see. You post using Propel Software accelerator, so let's
assume you have a dial up connection using a POTS (Plain Old Telephone
Service) line. So you can send and receive faxes with appropriate software
installed, but sorry to tell you this, Outlook Express is not the
appropriate program by itself for sending/receiving faxes. You can do a
Google search for fax software that integrates with your mail program and
then choose an appropriate one.

Phone Works is one of the ones that works with both Outlook and Outlook
Express:

Have a look at Ventafax www.ventafax.com.

I use the business version but I'm sure the Home version should cover your
faxing needs.
