Default Random links occuring in linked object from Excel

When I special paste tables and graphs from Excel as
links, they look fine on the screen. When I print them,
however, often they print out with incorrect links and
even equations done in equation editor (which have
nothing to do with Excel) wind up linked to some random
graph in excel. When I check the links, they are correct.
They just print out whacky. Anyone know what's up with
that?

There seems to be a problem, sometimes, with how Word
manages the actual links the field codes are showing you. If
you copy/paste to a new document without the last paragraph,
is it any better?
